With UCCA, you are the administrator of your homeschool and we provide a support system to help you be successful. Each church school is different so read our ADMINISTRATOR HANDBOOK before you apply, and then get ready for a family adventure where the world becomes your classroom and Jesus can be invited to be the center of it all.

Testing Options

UCCA requires standardized testing of the parent's choosing beginning in 3rd grade and every other year thereafter. You can use college readiness testing to meet this requirement.

High School

Dual enrollment - earning high school and college credit at the same time - is a big part of the high school experience for many of our 10th-12th grade students. Scholarships are available (academic and technical). There is a lot of flexibility with class choices when you homeschool and students can take courses on-campus.

Athletics

Most UCCA athletes play sports with the Tuscaloosa Warriors, our local homeschool athletic association, which competes in the Alabama Christian Sports Conference. Others choose to enroll as a non-traditional student at their local public school and compete in the AHSAA. There might also be limited opportunities to play for local private schools if the Warriors currently do not field a team such as football, baseball, and soccer.
